Libraries

LEAP Bridge Steel groups commonly used data together in the form of libraries. Libraries are used to store data not susceptible to change and able to be used in projects repeatedly. LEAP Bridge Steel has a set of default libraries for appurtenances, vehicles and materials.

Main ribbon libraries

Here are the libraries which can be used in LEAP Bridge Steel:

Appurtenance Library - to access the appurtenances type properties, select the Appurtenance Library from the Home main toolbar.
Vehicle Library - to view the vehicle data in the library file, select the Vehicle Libraries command from the Home main toolbar.
Material Library - to view materials type and the properties, select the Material Libraries command from the Home main toolbar.

Users can modify, add, and delete items from libraries each time they need to do it.

Note: If the file projects items properties are different from the one defined in the library, a dialog appear and need to resolve the conflict by selecting one option from:

update library item from project;
update project item from library;
create a new library item.

By default, the option is to update library item from project and to change it, apply to all check box should be enabled.
